 Experience the virgin rawness of Fen as a basement dwelling trio whose endless days of jamming riffs across a mushroom-spored carpet in a room walled thick with blankets and dumpster-mattress-gutted foam, led to a paranoia of the outside world and to the creation of an alternate one. When the last song was recorded, the members went on a road trip. After an hour the car broke down. They continued by way of hitchhiking, toward the quaint hippie town of Nelson, where they'd met. In addition to what each could fit in a knapsack, they bore with them a cardboard box packed with ice cubes and animal parts. Three days later, in a barn loft, the photograph was taken which appears on the cover. |
